Valentine's Day

I've been pretty good today. I've had a soda and some small nibbles of stuff here and there (blueberries and a salsa sample from Walmart) and I just had a serving of cottage cheese. Cottage cheese is one of those in-between foods, it could be solid OR liquid. I'm calling it liquid today because its made of milk and milk is a liquid therefore cottage cheese is liquid.

[how do you like THAT logic?]

I'm making a big dinner tonight, and I'm planning on throwing in the Ana towel tonight and thoroughly enjoying it. After all, I had to buy all that shit. And its Valentine's Day. And I'll liquid fast some more starting tomorrow, cuz that seemed to work pretty well.

[Was 144.4 lbs this morning! Surpassed my 145 mini-GW! Sa-weet!)

Dinner: lightly grilled skinless chicken breast with masala sauce (Indian, I think), couscous (first time I've ever had it, but I'm sure I'll like it, being the Carb Queen that I am), corn and lima beans, and a crusty French baguette with olive oil to dip in. (Thats an Italian thing...but I can combine ethnic foods all I want! :P), topped off with a healthy-ish dessert of fat free vanilla yogurt, fresh (and totally on sale!) blueberries, and granola. A parfait, if you will.

And for an additional dessert, if he so pleases, I got me/Josh some Victoria's Secret edible vanilla body dust ;) I may even wear the Victoria's Secret lingerie I bought last year too. Lingerie's not really my style and I feel totally self conscious and gross in it, but hey, it gets him off. So I deal.

See it has this adorable little pink pouf to dust all over. I think its shimmery too.
I also got myself two VS eyeshadows as my little treat for hitting a new all time low. It feels good. My muscles ache with the lack of food and my head feels dizzy but thats what success feels like. Its a beautiful thing. :)

I even got a new wine to try. I love trying out new wine! I save empty bottles of my favorites so I know what to get again.

Okay, I think I'm stalling now. I had all my fun and shoppity-shop for the weekend, now I have to clean. Boo. I really didn't even intend on going on Blogger in the first place, I was headed towards Netflix. Isn't that the way it goes, though? ;)

"All the single ladies [all the single ladies] now put your hands UP!"
Haha...

Seriously though, everyone, have a good V-day. (or at least try.)

peace

Emily

::EDIT:: "Emily", you say, "Why are you back on Blogger when you should be cleaning and doing dishes and stuff? Don't you have stuff to do?"

Well, curious readers, I am checking up on you all because I'm waiting for some songs to download. I just spent an hour or so making a playlist of classic love songs from the likes of Billie Holiday, Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, Dean Martin, and Ella Fitzgerald (plus a few more). I have a soft spot in my heart for music from the 40's and 50's.

Its beautiful stuff. The Big Bands, the crooners, the lilting melodies of decades gone by. *sigh*.

After this I'm uploading the list to my iPod and then I'm cleaning. For real this time. No, really.

I hope you had a lovely Valentines Day =) And you're extremely happy girly post made me smile! I feel the same damn way about lingerie... ugh.

Oh and I love how you combine all the different ethnic foods lol, next time throw in some perogies for the Polish/Ukrainian touch.. I adore couscous!!

I restrict hardcore most the time, so if I were to indulge in something like a low-cal chocolate bar or something... it would more than likely turn into a full fledge binge as I lack control lol.. And given the fact that my Valentines Day/bf suck, and I'm on my happy-time-of-the-mth... I would rather just binge away all my sadness =/
